Charred Wood Wastebasket Description
Handmade from solid wood. There are many ways to preserve wood. One of the most unique and time tested is through charring or burning. The look is certainly stunning with blacks, browns, and golden colors. We decided to take the ancient burning process a step further and added a modern light satin lacquer finish to the wastebasket. The texture is the star of the show and has a worn-in leather feel. The charred wastebasket is a reminder of the beauty that a destructive force like fire can create when harnessed correctly. The interior is finished and the bottom is hand painted black. Dimensions: 9.5 inches x 5.5 inches x 10.5 inches.
